We are an Australian-based, Australian-owned and operated Security Operations service.

Our vision is to offer a better Security Operations service to Australian organisations. 

Our story began with a founder that grew up in the Australian IT Security industry.  As an IT graduate in the late 1990s, there was an opportunity to step into an entry level role in security operations and gain the valuable experience and knowledge that would lay the foundation for a career in cybersecurity. 

Many organisations were insourcing their cybersecurity and there were many opportunities for entry into the cybersecurity industry.  The dot.com boom and global financial crises have led to exponential growth in cybersecurity, but also a growth in "as a service" models and off-shoring to lower costs.  This has resulted in less entry level opportunities for the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in the Australian market.

Sovereign SOC disrupts these 'as a service' models with a hybrid service that provides purpose designed and built Security Operations as a Service, operated by Australians.  The model lowers costs without the need to off-shore and provides employment opportunities for the next generation of Australian cybersecurity professionals.  The data stays on shore within the organisation, with a support model of Australian cleared SOC operations staff.
